Shut it...you pink floyd Hater

I ain't no Floyd hater. It's just that you could have at least picked the best FLOYD album of the 70's if you couldn't even come close to picking the best one all around.

:tsk:

*cracks knuckles*

David Bowie - Station To Station
Paul McCartney - Ram
Led Zeppelin - Houses Of The Holy
Funkadelic - One Nation Under A Groove
Pink Floyd - Animals
Joni Mitchell - Court & Spark
Randy Newman - Sail Away
Todd Rundgren - Something/Anything?
Aerosmith - Rocks
Allman Brothers Band - Eat A Peach
Willie Nelson - Phases & Stages

Etc...etc...etc...the 70's was the greatest decade ever for music. Homer Simpson was right; rock did peak out in 1974.

But, the best album of the 70's has to be...

Steely Dan - Aja

Springsteen - The Wild, The Innocent and the E St Shuffle
& Born to Run

Television - marquee moon

bob dylan - blood on the tracks

neil young - harvest

costello - my aim is true

shuggie otis - inspiration information

nick drake - pink moon (is that 70s? :uhoh: )

Bah. It's their most beloved and respected record, hardly an embarrassment. I enjoy the heck out of it. :tsk:

However, I must admit that it does stick out a bit.

PS, I forgot two:

Nick Drake - Pink Moon
Television - Marquee Moon

I would mention Dark Side Of The Moon as well, but Animals is better. People really liked staring at the dark sky back in the 70's. :slant:

Far and away my favorite album of all time.

And I'd be seriously inclined to call it the best. But alas, I cannot. For there is still a truly glorious masterpiece of the decade...THE BEST EVARrrr...that has yet to be mentioned. :macdevil:

Aerosmith lover.

I think I have some boots for you to shine. Get crackin.

 So I like the band before they wussed out and got clean. So sue me. Clean your own filthy boots. And stop kicking so much negative mud around on my clean floor. :tsk:

PS: I also am a Low lover
