I was watching the Braves game too... after a while, I expected about 50 clowns to come out of a tiny car. What? You mean that was a REAL MLB game? Come on! No way - that had to be a circus act.

I used that for the first time ever this weekend. Damn it's powerful! The Dolphins did a nice job this weekend with a by-week, one less chance for them to humiliate their fans. Wish I could sympathize for your Braves, but they gave the BlueJays trouble back in 92and93 (even though they lost).

soccer, could it be more boring?

I think the Simpsons got soccer right when they showed everyone going to a soccer game all excited but when the game started all it was was guys just kicking the ball back and forth and the (american) fans immediately got bored and stopped cheering altogether. Then it showed an american broadcaster getting very bored but then an international one getting excited and very pumped up with each pass they made. The fans then out of boredom, started a riot.

I completely agree with that take on soccer.
