I really like where I live. Despite what livluv says about it, its a good place to live. It does not snow from Oct to April. It does snow, but its not constant and generally we have maybe one or two bad storms for a winter and that is it. Summers here are great. Grand Rapids is one of the fastest growing cities in the U.S. and our downtown has been completely re done with a new arena, bars, restuarants. Its actually very nice. I lived in Alabama also and what I hated about that was the summers. 95 degrees with 90% humidity in August is not nice, sorry.

Bottom line is everywhere has positives and negatives (especially when it comes to weather).

The city nearest to where I live (Nottingham) is decent enough I suppose.

The town I live in, however, is crap, mainly because of the sort of people that live here.

I love absolutely love where we live!

We live at the base of the Trinity Alps in Northern California. We bought a great house and an acre of land last year and we will never move! Its so beautiful here.

We moved to this area about 8 years ago and it took a long time for me to adjust after living in Orange County, CA all my life. I missed all the shopping and concerts at first. But we have gotten more shopping here and I've learned how fun it can be to travel to shows and see new places. My next trip is going to be Vancouver, Canada for a Pearl Jam show. And we are close enough to drive to SF for shows and shopping.

This is a great place to raise kids, its a smaller town, but not so small you feel like your in the middle of nowhere. The cost of living is awesome too! We only paid $170,000 for our house and land. I'm not even 30 yet and this is the second house we have owned. We are a one income family who isn't rich, but we still get to do fun things. Its a great way to live.

Indianapolis is okay... not enough U2 fans I really want to move to a BIG city, like Boston or New York. Some place with more culture, more bands, more going on. The Midwest is kinda boring, I wanna move somewhere interesting...though I wouldn't mind living in Minnesota, I it there. What I really wanna do is travel everywhere!!

Yep, pretty much.

I'm close enough to the beach, close enough to the river, close enough to the cities of Freo and Perth and it doesn't take too long to get anywhere. The weather is normally pretty good and the people, on the whole are fairly relaxed. Oh, and they make good wine here

NO, I live in Iowa, which in case you didn't know SUCKS. Too hot and humid all summer, too freezing in the winter. I live 5hr drive from any real big city. We have no decent concerts, entertainment period.

I need to move somewhere, trying to decide where

I am from NY and live in South Florida now, I hate it. I've been there for like 3 years and it's a really nice area but the people there suck I think it's just because NY still feels like home and I still really miss all the people. I'm looking forward to going to college somewhere up north (NYC or Boston, hopefully) in 2 years
then I never want to live down south again

I love, love, love Toronto! But if I had to live somewhere else it would be in the Azores. It's home away from home.

Alaska is my home. The air is fresh, pollution free, the water is clean and clear and you can drink straight from the tap. We pay NO sales tax, we get a dividend of an average $1000 a year. Our city is steadily growing yet, at a comfortable rate.
There is no real traffic problem, as with other big cities. We make an average of 6% more than the people do in the Lower 48.
If I get sick of it here, I take my free $1000 and go to a nicer place like Hawaii or somewhere.

I live in Dundee, which is on the east coast of Scotland, north of Edinburgh. I do like living here - we have the best weather for Scotland, and it's a very nice situation - I live right near the beach and also within 15 mins of town, and if you drive for about an hour out of town, you get to lovely countryside with hills and rivers. I've lived here all my life almost but even though I like it, I fancy living somewhere else for a change sometime!
