Being a big fan of The Sopranos from day one, I've watched Six Feet Under from the start. The first couple of episodes, I really wasn't sure. But before you know it, the writers had me. Now I'm setting my VCR for every Sunday night just in case I'm not home.

My favorite character
Claire - Unfortunately, I can relate to her on so many levels.

My favorite line (so far)
Claire - "Oh, God, can't I just get upset without having to focus on what's really making me upset?"

OK, it looks like I'm gonna have to pimp Six Feet Under, so here are some more lines from the show....

Look I don't wanna make a big deal outta this. All I'm saying is I sat around last week in that stupid get-up you wanted me to wear - had to say all this, you know, Daddy this and Daddy that bullshit. And when I tell you I keep reading these articles about having this one-hour orgasm, the least you could do is help me have one...... pause = phone conversation Well, I'm sorry that men can't have it. But since you guys get to have everything else on the planet, it seems like a fair tradeoff.

Finally.....someone besides me knows about/watches/likes Six Feet Under!!

I can't wait for this week either, but it sucks that this will be the last episode of "this season". This and the Sopranos are never long enough.

So Hitman, who do you think is getting beat up in the preview? I don't think it's Billy beating up Nate - too obvious. Maybe David, maybe even Claire. And the shower scene....interesting!! Gabe, Claire's boyfriend = yummie!!

OK, I have to address that last comment...
Gabe = Yummy? What?!?! I'm a guy, but I don't see how this guy is yummy, but then again I'm a guy and I don't know much about that sort of thing, and I do find Claire growing on me in a very goth sort of way....I'm thinking it's got to be Nate beating up Billy, BUT I would love to see a swerve..David would be great. I love when he breaks out of his shell for a little bit. It is too bad all these HBO shows are over so quickly...I mean the Sopranos may be gone till next October!

Oh yes, Gabe is tasty lookin'! He reminds me of SicilianGoddess' "friend" Johnny...but then I've always had a thing for a Hispanic type of look. I'm gonna be sad if he OD's in the finale.

Just watched the preview of tomorrow's show again....maybe Billy does something to his Dad or to the shrink??

Like O2...I love this show. I am also a big fan of the Sopranos, and now I love 6 feet. Claire is the best character but I all the characters are very compelling...the show may be even more compelling than the sopranos....or at least close. Can't wait till Sunday's double episode season finale.

HBO is where it's at!!!

six feet under is such an awesome show. i don't watch too much tv. the only show i was watching was The Practice on ABC. Then came the Weakest Link on NBC. Then HBO. I relate to 6ft on so many levels. It's damn funny too. The porn star who died in the tub. The lady who was in the limo and got her face smashed, and the man who's wife killed him with a pan cause he was boring... haha. Yeah can't wait for the double tonight... Hate it's the last new episode for a while though, but ya gota love re-runs. I just started watching the Sapranos last week when they started to run the episodes from the beginning. Very Awesome. I am already hooked. Sex City is good too. I'm just glad to see others who like 6ft. I thought maybe i was the only one who got this show... Kewl..

Yep...I am a big fan of Six Feet Under too!!!!

Also am a huge fan of the Sopranos! Sucks we have to wait til June '02 for the new season!!!Arrrghhhh...But its sure worth the wait...Hope they grab up all those emmys!

Like a good joyfulgirl, I did a search before starting a new topic, so this old thread gets a *boostier*.

I am obsessed with this show. I didn't get HBO until the reruns started, but I was hooked literally from the first 5 minutes of the first episode. Excellent writing, stunning cast, it's funny, it's deep, it's so damn good I wish it came on every night.

New season starts March 3. Like you didn't know.
