You know this song? What a song!!!It is so , so beautiful!

I know lots of songs. I've been around a while. Flock of Seagulls had some good tunes in spite of their hair.

I don't know much about Cock Robin, though.

the guitarist from A Flock of Seagulls is my guitar teacher.

not the 80s Flock, but the 90s Flock.

and I love 99% of the early 80s new wave bands with a passion.

Oh yes ... A Flock Of Seagulls !!

My faves are ...

Wishing (If I Had A Photograph Of You)
I Ran
Space Age Love Song
The More You Live, The More You Love
Nightmares
Transfer Affection

:applaud:

Cock Robin had hits like Just around the corner, When your heart is weak, Remeber the promise you made.... ring any bells?
I also wanted to add bands like Dead or alive, Talk Talk, Thompson Twins

Was Dead or Alive considered rare???
"You spin me round" was a hit right through the 80's and beyond!!!!

I still hear that all the time at clubs...especially indie/rock nights...always a great dancin tune:cool::dance:

flock of seagulls ruled (rules)
my other favs from yester year:

Dead or Alive
The Cars
The Bangles
Blondie
Cyndi Lauper (I Drove All Night:drool: )
Men w/o Hats
Culture Club (Don't make fun of me)

Care, had a brilliant single in the mid '80s, Flaming Sword, think Ian Broudie was a member, also Bourgie Bourgie released one of the greatest songs of that or any other decade, Breaking Point, criminally overlooked, reached no higher than No. 48, also E&TB, The Cars, Blondie, Fun Boy Three, The Adventures, The Cult, The Smiths, wasn't such a bad decade after all, was it?

There was this group called Bourgeious Tag (sp?) that had a beautiful song called "I Don't Mind At All" that came out around 1987 or 1988. It's not exactly rare since I used to hear it on the radio and on MTV. I guess it's more of a "one-hit wonder."

I remember taping it off the radio. I think I still have that cassette somewhere.

I should find out what album that came from and buy it.
