u know i used to really feel sorry for the braves, every year winning a division or pennant but not the series. Untill, I catch one of their games on TBS and am reminded of that insipid chop.
You couldn't pay me do that. How embarrassing! It's as bad as the damn wave at dodger stadium!

They do not do the wave at Wrigley (anymore).
It should be outlawed in most ballparks.

THE WAVE SUCKS! sucky sucky sucky - lame, and sucky. If the game, your beer or your crackerjack prize, the inbetween inning antics and your fellow fans can't entertain you enough...don't start the wave...GO HOME. You suck.

The chop, even as offensive as it is to our Native American brothers and sisters, is NOT a form of the wave - it is a cheer. Much more acceptable, in an uneacceptable way. Think: football chants in England. accepted, yet offensive. Odlly, it is at the same time.
