Who does the better job of covering Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah--Bono or Jeff Buckley?

Jeff = heaven

Bono = painful

ok ... maybe painful is a bit harsh ... but it is definitely a song where i will hit the skip button.

The very sexy Glen Hansard singing a very sexy song!

ahem, well if you want my opinion on Hallelujah, my favourite version of that song is by John Cale. I prefer it to all the other versions I've heard.

Even better than Jeff :hmm:

Jeff's version on the recently re-released Live at Sin E is achingly beautiful.

I will have to check out John Cale's version.

:heart: glen :love: the frames :heart:

I LOVE that cover :laugh: I heard it a while ago in my mad search for everything they've done after seeing them live. They are amazing. In case anyone didn't know that I feel that way. :reject:

I thought you meant the other sort of cover...album cover.
I've seen some amusing ones of those too.

Every afternoon Mel and Charlie have a segment called
"Wrong Way To the Top", featuring covers of unlikely songs by unlikely people.
