He saves the world...

I'd go with Buttermaker in the original Bad News Bears.

Honorable Mention:

Riley from National Treasure
Bob Wylie from What About Bob?

Wait a minute, Doc, are you trying to tell me that this E.T. has got the hots for me? That is heavy.

HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOME.

Unquestionably Atticus Finch.

Peck, a civil rights activist and recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom award, who favored the role of Finch over all his other roles, had this to say about his performance:

“I put everything I had into it – all my feelings and everything I'd learned in 46 years of living, about family life and fathers and children. And my feelings about racial justice and inequality and opportunity”.

we never would have guessed you'd say that BC :giggle:

off the top of my head:

Bill Cosby - Cliff Huxtable "The Cosby Show"
Michael J. Fox - Marty McFly "Back to the Future"
John Ritter - Jack Tripper "Three's Company"
Ron Livingston - Peter Gibbons "Office Space"
Vince Vaughn - Trent Walker "Swingers"
Sarah Jessica Parker -Carrie Bradshaw "Sex and the City"

Really? Carrie?

Of the 4, she let men walk all over her the most, throughout the entire series, right up to the end. IMO, of course.

well it was either Carrie or Samantha that I liked the best. Miranda was annoying most of the time and Charlotte was spoiled. you're absolutely right about men walking all over her. still liked a lot of the dialogue though.

Oh, no arguments here. The writing was excellent, hell, the whole show was great! One of my all-time favorites. I just wish Carrie had stood up for herself a bit more. But still a great character.
