Teams coming off a Thursday game typically play better the following Sunday, as they've had more time to rest and prepare for the opponent. There's statistics to back this up.

I just think the Cowboys suck, so ignored it.

Plus I've been told for 2 weeks that the Saints offense is unstoppable.

But going back to the days of yore when there weren't Thursday games each week, one of the stone cold locks was betting the Cowboys the week after Thanksgiving (but it didn't apply to the Lions). So while the advantage theoretically should be nullified by the Saints also playing on Thanksgiving, I just always remembered that stat about Dallas the week after they devoured the 6 legged turkey.
