U2 aiming for 'harder sound' on new album
The Edge says U2's next album will have a much harder sound than All That You Can't Leave Behind.
The band are currently in the studio recording tracks for the new album which is due to be released next year.
Edge says they have worked on six new songs.
"Right now, my instinct is to make a very raw kind of guitar, bass, drums - an album with a lot of attitude and a lot of that kind of life force, vitality that I associate with guitar bands in full flight," he tells Launch.com.
