LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Rock singer Bono is urging help for Africa.
The Irish singer was in Cincinnati Friday urging Americans to do all they can to reduce the burden of debt on Africa and to help African countries fight AIDS. Bono says the United States has AIDS-fighting medicines that could save millions of lives if given to Africans.
The U2 star has been touring the Midwest all week to make his case at college campuses, churches and industrial locations. He wraps up his tour Saturday here in Louisville, and Sunday in Nashville, Tenn.
