Grammy Nominations Announced

The nominations for the 46th annual Grammy Awards were announced in Beverly Hills this morning. U2 is up for two awards, one for Best Song Written For A Motion Picture, Television Or Other Visual Media for "Hands That Built America" from the film "Gangs of New York," and the other for Best Compilation Soundtrack Album For A Motion Picture, Television Or Other Visual Media for contributing to the "Gangs" soundtrack.

The Grammys will be held Sunday, February 8 at Staples Center in Los Angeles and will air on CBS from 8-11:30 p.m. on both coasts.

Yeah that is what I think too although after reading through a lot of the nominations it seems like there is a teeny bit more variety although the same people will probbably win.
 
If the album comes out before 10/15 of 2004 it will be eligible for album of the year if not only the lead single willbe eligible (ala beautiful day)
