Bono of the Irish rock band U2, actress Ashley Judd and Omaha billionaire Warren Buffet spoke about the AIDS epidemic at the Lied Center.
More than 2,300 people attended the event.
The speakers told the audience to contact their congressmen and urged them to send money to AIDS victims and programs.
The event received worldwide attention. Right now, health officials say about 1 million Americans are infected with the AIDS virus.
