NEW YORK, NY Friday 11.8.2002 /netmusiccountdown.com/ -- U2's Bono gets another award this month ? and we wonder just where does he keep all of them.
This is yet another nod to his humanitarian deeds, this time the award comes from human rights organization the Simon Wiesenthal Center.
Bono will receive the Humanitarian Laureate Award "for his keen sense of social justice and his tireless efforts on behalf of the underprivileged and disenfranchised of the world."
The Simon Wiesenthal Center is dedicated to preserving the memory of the Holocaust, and fostering tolerance, understanding, and international human rights.
