Bono
Bono's kept some pretty impressive company over the years ? The Pope, George W. Bush ? and this week he's adding to his list of photo ops by hanging out with The Rolling Stones and Oprah Winfrey.
But not at the same time. That would be weird.
According to NME, Bono joined the Stones onstage last night (September 16) at their gig at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago. Bono reportedly sauntered on stage, unannounced, and without saying a word, launched into a duet of "It's Only Rock And Roll" with Mick Jagger. Once the song was over, Bono wandered off stage and didn't resurface.
We're wondering if he was even invited.
Either way, on the complete opposite end of the rock 'n' roll spectrum, Bono's in Chicago for a taping of the ever poignant Oprah Winfrey show. Bono and Oprah will chit-chat about the rock singer's crusade against poverty in Africa. Also on Oprah this week: What Your Mother Never Told You About Motherhood, Abductions: Children Who Go Away and fabulous fifty-somethings Goldie Hawn and Susan Sarandon. Bono's show will air this Friday (September 20).
