NEW YORK, NY Thursday 8.1.2002 /netmusiccountdown.com/ -- You'll get your first taste of new U2 in September, but the NMC eCharting artists deny that they are also prepping a show in New York.
The song is called "Electric Storm," and it's the track off U2's second best-of collection. The single will ship to radio on September 16, and the album will hit stores near you in November.
The collection will also include "The Hands That Built America," which was written just for the upcoming Martin Scorsese film, Gangs Of New York. You can hear a snippet of the track on U2's official website .
