On Thursday, the BBC held a picture captioning contest for a photo of Bono and Pavarotti rehearsing for the Pavarotti&Friends 2003 charity concert that took place at Novi Sad Park in Modena, Italy on Tuesday May 27th.

No material reward was offered for those who won the contest other than "kudos," according to the Beeb, and the coolness of winning a caption-writing contest. Below are the winning captions.
