Bono Rehearses in Italy With Pavarotti
Bono arrived at Novi Sad Park in Modena, Italy today, May 26th to rehearse "One" for his upcoming performance at the Pavarotti &Friends 2003 concert. The charity concert on May 27th is set to benefit the UNHCR project called 'S.O.S. IRAQ' to provide aid to displaced Iraqis from the Iraqi war. It'll probably be on something where you have to pay to see it. Like Pay-PerView. (I think that's right) There was a concert on there a few months ago with Pavarotti and it said he had some friends with him. I don't know. I'm just guessin'.

According to u2log.com Bono was set to perform something a little different originally.

"During rehearsals, Bono tried out ?Miserere? with Pavarotti and Zucchero and an ?Ave Maria?. Not happy with this track, Bono cut the rehearsal of this song short. He then played ?One?, much like the version performed at the 1995 Pavarotti and Friends. It seems likely ?One? will be played instead of ?Ave Maria? at the show tonight. (info via Zooitalia.com)"
