U2, JOHNSON TOP APPLE CHARTS

Apple's new online-music store sold another 1 million songs in its second week of operation to bring its two-week tally above 2 million. An acoustic version of U2's "Stuck in a Moment You Can't Get Out Of" is the store's best-selling single, and JACK JOHNSON's "On and On" is the top album. Apple is developing a version for Windows, but so far, only two of the five major labels have licensed songs. Says Interscope Records chairman JIMMY IOVINE, "Whoever doesn't license music for this is crazy."

Thanks, Dev!

This is the greatest thing since the CD. I've already bought 3 or 4 albums and a half dozen individual songs.

Leave it to Apple to, once again, be the innovator of new technology.
