AOL Movies' Program Benefits DATA, Bono's Worldwide Charity That Addresses Crises In Africa
AOL Celeb Candids allows stars to turn the tables on the paparazzi and give fans an intimate look at their lives by personally photographing their experiences at the most exclusive events in the world of entertainment. For every Celeb Candid posted on the service, AOL will make a donation to Bono's worldwide charity DATA, which aims to raise awareness about the crises facing Africa, including extreme poverty, national debt and the uncontrolled spread of AIDS.
AOL Movies' debut installment of Celeb Candids captured private moments from Hollywood's elite during this year's Oscar week, featuring personal photos from Adrien Brody, Colin Farrell, Queen Latifah, Julianne Moore, Meryl Streep, Stephen Cojocaru, Diane Lane, Harvey Weinstein and more. Last week, the women of "The Matrix Reloaded" also joined the fun at the Los Angeles premiere of their highly anticipated film. Carrie-Anne Moss, Jada Pinkett Smith and Monica Bellucci were all beautiful, dangerous and armed with digital cameras as they faced the paparazzi on the black carpet.
