U2 on tour in Minnesota in May? Why haven't we heard of this?

In the Tour Dates section of U2's Artist page on VH1.com, U2 is listed at a venue called Diamond's in Ramsey, MN on May 31st, 2003 on a bill with Tom Petty, Prince, and 3 Doors Down. Mistake? Oversight? Misprint? We don't know - but we had to tell you first!

I'm having a real hard time believing this one.

It's a sportsbar and it's just a local band called Dirty Word that is INFLUENCED by the artists listed. They are listed the same on the bar's schedule for their gig on April 12th, and I think we woulda heard if all those guys played some sports bar in in the far Minneapolis suburbs. I found the same thing out visiting that website. Which is good because I have tickets to see Daneil Lanois in Minneapolis at the Historic Pantages Theatre on May 31st, that same night. I'm not totally sure if I'm going to go since a friend of mine can't go but I'm kind of looking forward to it.

Once it mentioned that Prince was going to play in Ramsey I knew it was fake. Prince only plays Paisley Park or block parites in Minneapolis.

also 3 Doors Down is playing at the Memphis in May Festivities that night, in TN, along with Sheryl Crow, John Mayer, Steven Stills and bunches of other people. etc. Just saw this while looking for info for co-worker who's going to be in Memphis this weekend.
