Just a Reminder: Bono In New York This Week

Bono will be in New York this week in time for his tribute dinner, concert and auction as the 2003 MusiCares Person Of The Year.

The event takes place at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City on Friday, February 21st.

Just wonderin'...if Bono did indeed slip a disc, that wouldn't put him in a very good state to travel...

Yeah. That can be really painful. Poor lad.

It can also become chronic. That does not bode well for 2004's tour...or any future tour for that matter. Especially given as physical as Bono likes to be. And how little he listens to his doctors! lol!

I just hope this injury doesn't screw up his plans. It's tough to do stuff when you've got that nasty an injury. There are legal drugs to kill pain, anti-inflammatories. Does anyone else remember him having the Toothache From Hell when they were making Zooropa (it's in Flanagan). That awful thing didn't even keep him out of the studio. Of course that wasn't a slipped disc.......damn.
