Where U2 Have a Different Name?

Okay, I have a question for everyone. I am *trying* to begin writing a novel, and it will have references to the main character's favorite band, which is U2 but NOT U2...Basically BASED on U2. So what do I call this band? I am SO bad with names. I hate to think what my band's name would be if I started one. I'd probably have to have a contest to have the fans pick or something...lmao

hehehe...Cute ideas! I particularly like T1! You know, I had thought about Feedback. That would be cool. See, I WOULD leave their name as is, but I sort of based my main male character's looks on Larry's Zooropa look, so I thought..."No...prob'ly shouldn't do that!" Incidentally, the story is about an up-and-coming band who was influenced by their favorite band, U2 (but not U2...Feedback! Yeah! Feedback!). The up-and-coming band is called "Desert Sky." You know, like "Desert sky, dream beneath the desert sky..."
