also, that's Dallas Schoo, Edge's guitar tech
 
Edge's favorite guitar is probably the Explorer. the majority of the bands early pics have him playing it. it's probably of great sentimental value too :yes:

does anyone know what happened to Edge's black on black strat? is it just put back on the racks? I was really disappointed when I saw them play last year and Edge played Sunday Bloody Sunday with the Telecaster. :(
I was hoping to get a glimpse of it in real life :drool:

it was a few years ago. while they were at the superbowl in 2002 (which ironically, was held at New Orleans), there was a flood back at HQ, and Edge lost all the guitars that he didnt bring with him to New Orleans.
i remember him saying this in an interview about his role in Music Rising, and how he was saying he can relate to the musicians who lost their instruments, cuz it happened to him too. he felt like he had to "give back" cuz all this favorite guitars were saved cuz he was in New Orleans at the time =)

anybody found the WOWY guitar I am searchign for yet?
He uses it on both the Slane and Boston dvd... it's black and white... with a strange square-ish shape... and the black/white separation is diagonal...

and does anybody know the specific name of the Fender(I think it's a stratocaster) Edge used during The Fly during the ZooTv tour.... it's the cool purple guitar with the skeleton.. I love that one!

He's been using the Telecaster for a while on SBS, including Elevation and before.

he's using it on this tour again for Streets, but it had been put away for a while. check the Chicago DVD ;)

it's a Fender Clapton Strat, just with that super cool paint job.

The SG that is mentioned, is actually a 61 ReIssue Gibson Les Paul SG, and the "Fender" for with or without you is actually a Fernandez with Infinite Sustainer pickups. On the elvation tour it was the Fernandez Native Pro.

I missed that part the first time I watched it, probably because I was cracking up about Dallas's elation over Christy Turlington. It's great to see the banter between him and Edge.

I like the acoustic he uses for Love & Peace or Else... I'm at work or I'd post a picture. I like his story about how he tried all the electric guitars for the solo in the song and nothing was working, until he tried the acoustic. Cool :)
