i am thinking about getting a u2 tattoo on my arm,but im not sure what logo to have please can anyone help me .any ideas then post them here please!!!!!!!!!

Yeah this goes for me too. I want a U2 logo either on the small of my back, near my butt or on the back of my neck.

Cant figure out what kind of logo.

Suggestions would be helpful.

Well, I know it?s not easy. I?ve been thinking about that myself. First I thought I just tattoo the words "Achtung Baby". But when I think about it, my favorite album is "The Joshua Tree" (and UF) so.. it?s easy. I?ll just gonna tattoo the tree. I saw a guy in Stockholm who had the tree (Joshua tree) tattooed on his arm. It looked cool... so I?m thinking about getting one on my shoulder.

I know there are people who has a tattoo of Bono?s face and such thing. But seriously.. I don?t think that?s a good idea.
Okey, first of all, I don?t know how old you are. There are fans here who has been fans for 20 years, and probably will stay U2-fans forever. But there are (probably) also people here who are huge U2-fans now, but maybe won?t be huge fans when they are, let?s say 40-50 years old. And maybe it isn?t so funny then to have Bono?s face tattooed over your body when you?re 50, if you know what I mean.
So personally I think you should tattoo something that necesserily doesn?t have to do anything with U2 ONLY, but could have another meaning. Like those ATYCLB-symbols, or something like that. Just my personal opinion, but, as I said, I don?t know you so...

But if you?re young... then I would definitely recommend you something else than any of the bandmembers face. Also because that?s a very hard thing to get a tattoo of. If the tattooer make a mistake... then it will look like ****.

It probably looks great, and I don?t think there is anything wrong with that, but I hope you understand what I mean in my first message! I really didn?t mean anything bad about persons who do have his face (or any other face) tattooed. So please.. don?t get me wrong. I missed your post, I just saw it when I?d post mine. Just for all you girls who have never had a tattoo---they HURT really really really BAD!
I have a star on my toe, and it only took about 10 minutes, but I've never been in so much pain. Of course feet and ankles are really painful places to get them though.
My sister got a tattoo on her lower back (like the one posted)...she was 15 years old...and she was screaming and sobbing the whole time! She said her stomach and back muscles would contract involuntarily.

I'm not against tattoos of course... I'm just saying its gonna hurt!

i got myn because i wanted something detailed and i love bonos face. so i thought why not. it could of been anyones face even just an artists portrate, it wasnt for personal reasons just for art.

I was convinced that getting a tatoo wasnt a good idea. But since I became a U2 fan, Ive been thinking about getting one!

I was checking out some logos , and definitely loved the JT silouethe (spelling?)

It seems so cool but not that scandalous.
Also as Candys room, I love Bonos face, I am looking for a good picture of him on black and white.

poptart: ever thought about the Mr Macphisto-logo? I think there are two different ones, isn?t it? I can?t find any of them right now, but I?m pretty sure of that. One from the "Hold me, thrill me, kiss me, kill me-video" and one other that are for example shown at the big screen during "HMTMKMKM" performance in Mexico City.
I love them both even if yellow (and black) may not be the best colour to tattoo... but they still rock!
