U2 mention in TV Guide

I found this little blurb while reading next weeks TV Guide. It's called "Name That Show" and talks about what the original names of some shows were.

One Tree Hill
Original title: Ravens

The first title, a nod to the show's fictional high school basketball team, was nixed by WB for being "too sports-centric," says exec producer Mark Schwan. "One Tree Hill," the name of the U2 song Schwan listened to while writing the pilot, made the cut instead.

I'm telling you - U2 is everywhere!

Wow! I had a feeling that it was named after the song. I watched a few episodes hoping I would hear a snippet of the song somewhere but nope.

I thought that was the reason for the title! I thought that they would at least use the song for the title!

I used to watch that show all the time, and I always wondered...

I tried to watch that show once. I'm not even sure I got through the whole thing it was so lame.

It's strange to think a writer who would produce such shallow, cliched crap could be a U2 fan.
