She sits there on one tree hill staring at the sun, afraid of what she'll find if she cant find what she's looking for. She sits there thinking about the end of the world, wishing she hadnt gave herself away. Because now she's stuck, stuck in a moment she cant get out of, she cant keep looking for the one, its a beautiful day and she needs a miracle drug to get herself out of this place, she wants to run she wants to hide but she's running to stand still. A howling wind and a stinging rain comes down on her, she cant move, she thinks about when he kissed her lips and broke her heart, she thinks about the millions crying, she thinks about new years day, but all she wants is her everlasting love. Will she ever find him again? He told her she was all he wanted, he told her she was the sweetest thing, he told her in a little while he would be hers and that he couldnt make it without her. She cant live with or without him, but she has to choose.......she decides to go on without the man she was looking for. She stands up on one tree hill, underneath the joshua tree, looking over the city of blinding lights she realises that love came to town and left again, she has pride and she's not going to let the man who sees the shadow behind her eyes get her down anymore, she takes one final glance at the world she is about to leave behind. She couldnt find the one she was looking for but she found her miracle drug, she walks on and makes her exit.
This is a story made up off the top of my head, there is a lot of U2 stuff thrown in there, but how much?
