I went to my first Portland Youth Wind Ensemble rehearsal last night from 7:30 to 9:00. It went pretty well, but the music will challenge me...a lot! Btw, I play the clarinet in it.

The Portland Youth Wind Ensemble (PYWE) is a group of about 100 to 110 kids. There are mostly high schoolers and I made it in when I was in seventh grade. I'm in eighth, just in case you didn't know.

I came home from school plenty of times last year. I was ALWAYS sick. It's because of the darn teachers giving me all kinds of stress. And once you're sick once, you slip behind on homework. And that just makes it A LOT worse!

Sickness, stress and school don't mix well wait until you get closer to finishing high school with all the really important exams (now those are stressful times )
