so was their dublin studio demolished...

or what?!? does anyone know?! i just remembered we'd signed that petition awhile back, but i never heard back about what happened as a result.

They might still be fighting it... they better win. How could Dublin do this to the guys?

exactly what i was thinking wildhoney22...just think about the fans that travel to ireland to 'stalk' the band! that must be good for the local travel industry!! think of the revenue it generates!!

The last I heard, they had given up their objections and the demolition was set to proceed. I don't know when but I think it is a done deal.

And according to Larry in the lastest issue of Q, they were able to record 8 songs there for the new album.

thanks for the update Cat! though it is still sad news

i am sure the city offered them a good settlement for the property (at least something comparable to the $$$ they spent fixing up the place).

anyone has pics of the studio they'd like to share?!?!
