Since We Love Photos..

Is anyone here into photography? It's sort of therapeutic for me. Nature is my favorite subject, but I'll usually take a photo of just about anything I have a digital camera

Here are a few of mine, maybe some other people can share a few

Wow, those are good Mrs. S! I used to take pics too, but nowhere near as good as that. Maybe I'll scan a couple. I need a camera, but can't afford it right now.

Here are some of mine. I must admit I'm surprised... some of them looked so much better after I scanned them.

Mrs. s and fj- your pictures are absolutely stunning! these were taken with a digital cam, not as good as my focus lens (which i would scan some pics, but alas, my scanner decided to hate me) these are from maine this december

Thank you JJ.

There's something kind of melancholy about your pics... just lovely.

lol it was a very dark day, plus the place had this eeriness to it. that last pic was close to an old castle, supposedly haunted- lots of history around that place, dark history. not to mention that in the 1800s there was a shipwreck there :P
the castle

These were taken in Algonquin Park in the Fall, which is about 3, 4 hours up north from Toronto.

The first picture was on the way back, and I actually took it from inside a moving car, lol

Before I go out to meet up with a friend, I thought I'd post some pics I took in Polperro, a little fishing village in Cornwall, England. I loved it, even if it was a tourist town. I can't wait to go back and explore Cornwall on my own, without a tour guide making us adhere to a schedule!

I also visited the north-western most lighthouse in the United States... it's located on the coast of Oregon:

It was really cloudy both in Polperro and in Oregon on the days I took those pictures... lol
