Select Magazine: Looking for an article from 1992/1993?

Select was a major UK music magazine that went under a few years ago.

I'm looking for an issue from 1992 or 1993.

It had Bono on the cover, smoking one of his cigarlos, and the head line was:

"Bono. Messiah or Bastard? 40 Friends and foes paint the real picture."

Anyone ever seen it? I'd love to see scans, as I never read the article.

It's the June 1993 edition of Select. I have the actual magazine but unfortunately I'm unable to scan it coz I don't have a scanner!!! I got the photo of the cover from Bonoonline, but they don't have the article either. But I could send you a colour photocopy of the article, if no one else here has scans. That was a great article. I think it was also reproduced in The U2 Reader. I can't seem to find my copy at the moment.

Select did a good article in '99 on the early years of U2.

As Brau said the mag is now sadly defunct.
