Salman Rushdie in Seattle

I don't know if this should be a new thread, but here goes:
I'm wondering if any Washingtonian D) here is planning to go to the reading Mr Rushdie is doing on Tuesday. And I'm wondering if it'd be negative or postive or not to hear him talk about Fury when I haven't read it...

(He's one of my favorite authors, I would love to see him!)

He came to Chicago to read from Fury and do a booksigning last summer. I went with a few of my friends and even though none of us had ever read anything by him, we were really impressed by him and what he read from Fury. Really charming and brilliant man. I strongly urge anyone who can make it to this to go.
