Yes, this concert was shown on other cable shows. I remember watching it on a program called something like "Live Wire"? Not sure if that is the true name, but it was a program on Nickelodeon and it would play concerts and videos and have something like a american bandstand type appeal for young kids. They would play this concert all the time.

Our cable was so lame back then we only got Nickelodeon half the day and at night it turned into A&E! I just remember it being shown a lot. There was a lot of U2 on MTV in the 80's when it was good. I liked U2 all along, I have been a fan since I saw them on TV in 1981. I am almost as old as them, I will be 40 week after next.

em...whoa...I know I've posted this comment in another thread, but in the olden days (JT era), we used to watch/rewind/watch/rewind the very "happy" elevated Bono! It is amazing to watch this video...he must've really really really liked that performance!!!

I've also posted before that there is an old version and a cut version of this concert....one where he climbs up on the rocks and sings "bring on the clowns" and the newer version where this is cut out because U2 did not have permission to use the song...silly, happy Bono....

In fact, one time we were rolling around salivating over this tape and one of the person's daughters came in and said, "Mommy, why are you watching that man's f?"

I love Red Rocks. I got a big let down yesterday- I was looking through DVD's and I saw "Live at Red Rocks" and I thought 'yes UABRS/Red Rocks has been released on DVD! Then I saw it was only Neil Young and had been put in the U's Oh well maybe someday.
