Re-so-lu-tion!

So...what's yours for 2002??

#1 with a bullet for me: FIND A JOB.

Blargh.

And the usual: lose weight, get organized, get my sh*t together, blah de blah blah....

Hmm. I suppose it would be: get a job, make lots of money, move to Ireland, camp outside the Clarence, Bono's house, and the studios (change daily), and make sure to be quite a few copies of ATCLYB and a trunk of different wigs and clothes.
... what?

My resolution is to...

DO WHATEVER THE F*** I WANNA DO! And to trust that I will be able to do the things I want to do: without worrying all the time about finances or how it's going to affect other people.

I have finally realized that there are many possibilities and I wanna do everything! So I'm gonna!

Bluey's Resolutions for 2002:

1. Gain five pounds. I don't need to, but I like to start with an OBTAINABLE goal.

2. Take more kickboxing classes, and perfect that roundhouse kick...amaze my friends, confound my enemies.

3. Get a yellow shirt. I don't have one, and I think I'm ready.

4. Make the PERFECT martini before next new year's eve.

5. Do the splits....ON PURPOSE.

6. Improve the quality of my PLEBA postings.

As ever, reaching for the stars...

Actually, I am already on line alot. So that proboably isn't a very good resolution. I will:
1) Lose 10 Pounds
2) Start Working Out
3) Not smoke anymore
4) Write my first fanfiction

Yeah, so, I try not to make these b/c I try not to lie to myself too much. Anyway, if I was to make some resolutions...

1. Stop lying to my self. ie these jeans will fit once I lose 5 lbs, I should buy them for inspiration.

2. Don't leave dishes in the sink

3. DO something with my degree besides go to grad school

4. And, ummmm....be more creative.

That is a list that will keep me busy for a while....Happy New Year girls and the ever missing ScottPhisto!

Nice thread, Disco! (btw, I miss you! )

Here's my New Year's Resolutions:

1. Lose some feckin' weight. Geesh.

2. Complete my two novels - I write enough on this here board to more than finish my books, but alas, there they sit, dejected from lack of use.

3. Look into getting a better apartment.

4. Go to Europe this summer if it kills me.

5. Pay off some of my debt.

6. Finish my credential.

7. Exercise more.

8. Write more letters to people (e-mail doesn't count!)

9. Finish projects that I've started.

10. Spend more time with friends and family.

That's about it... I'm sure there's more, but ten is plenty for a start.

1. Drop the 10 pounds I gained after my wedding (for which I lost these same 10 pounds)

2. Send my book to a publisher to at least make an attempt at becoming an official writer

3. Eat more veggies, less pizza (see #1)

4. Spend less time on-line (yeah, right)

Nice Thread:

My goals are simple enough:

1. Loose weight (will do it.....this time!)

2. Will not let co-workers stress me out this year!!!

3. Pay credit cards, and save $ for Europe this summer! ( I need to go back to Dublin and see what I missed, 5 days just isn't enough!!!)

4. Meet more people who love the best band in the world! (OH wait, I've meet them here already!!)

AND

lastly to decide what the heck I see myself doing in 5 years? Maybe it's time to go get my Masters!!! Have to think about this one!!

Here's hoping we all get to attain our resolutions, and if not, at least making a run at it!!! Have a hapy New Year's Everyone!!!

Excellent idea for a thread, Disco!

1) Lose those damned 20 lbs!!!!!!!!!
2) Read more books and fewer magazines.
3) Write a novel
4) Improve my career outlook
5) Pay down the debts
6) Try to be happier
7) Try to be less self centred

Forget everything that's happened in the previous twenty years. It's time to start anew. Come on, ScottPhisto, I see a sunset we must ride off into....
