Thanks for asking after me. I've been really upset by a murder commited here in the UK. I didn't know the person concerned but it was a particularly horrific murder and the victim was only 17. A boy. I guess sometimes things get to us. Maybe we let them. I dunno. I only know that there are some things that I find hard to take and I ache inside for all concerned.

So, your thread really made me laugh at a time when I desperately needed to know that the world isn't all bad but can have it's comic moments too.

Thanks for that and thanks to everyone who participated. It's a great post.

It bothers you because you're a good person with a good heart. The news gets to me somedays too, it sometimes seems there is so much bad in the world.
Glad the thread cheered you up...I find I can come here even on my worst days, and it never fails to brighten my day
