Pop-Ups or Banner ads?

pop ups are worst cuz you have to keep closeing them and they keep coming up and you have to keep closeing them... its an on going cycle of torture...

I definitely prefer banners to Pop-ups...I was once on a website, and I can't even remember what the website was about, and literally 40+ pop-ups starting coming up on my screen. ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

My mind doesn't even register the presence of banners anymore, so they don't really bother me. Pop-ups, on the other hand, are the devil.

Sorry, but I can't choose, they are both annoying as anyting.

But if you want to get rid of them (or 99.9% anyway - they always find some way around fixes), download AdShield - it kicks butt on popups!

ironically, there was a discussion on this very thing on cnn this morning. it seems only 2% of sits use pop-up ads! i think this is a little off. maybe they just looked at, say, 1000 sites or so. depending on what kinda sites they went to, they probably didn't see hardly any ads! but on tv, they showed him going to some news site or something that had about six windows pop up. then the idiot minimized them!
