i'm intermittently working on my lecture but had to say to the girls! :wave:
 
They arrived earlier for the first shows, like between 1 and 2:30 and then on Friday and Saturday it was later. Friday I believe it was like 3:30 - 4:30. Everyone remained calm and friendly except for one night, the Friday night after concert, and the crowd surged off the curb around Bono, John basically tossed him into his suburban and took off as soon as that happened.

Someone stopped every night coming out, except Saturday they had a police escort and got out of there before most of the crowd was even out of the stadium.

Hmm :hmm: I think there were close to a hundred people there on friday but since they were relatively calm (on the bands way in) Bono and Edge both shook a lot of hands, though they didn't have time to autograph anything

Larry only came out when there were very few people waiting, once was on a rehearsal day, not even a concert day and there were only 8 people waiting

I'm not sure what time they got to the saturday show because I was busy doing something else :shifty: but I'm sure it was later than 1 pm
 
Hi ruff :hug: if you have a min go back one pg to bottom....I desperately trying to collect ans much info as to how the guys have been acting in gen not just with all our Plebans....to figure the best way to ......

..well-- i still haven't met Bono yet:sad: :sad: :sad:, but I also want to get photos with all of them if i can!!!...

since i've met the other three:drool: :drool: asking maynot be as intimidating...:uhoh: :wink: as the first hello/thanks :D....
 
see LOOK at THAT....I can't even type straight when i start to "talk" about meeting Bono
.....though everytime i've gotten closer and closer...a few %points of my feeling i'm gonna freez up has melted.....

If 'I'd been juuuuust a little quicker {in May} running around behind some other fans moving as he was strolling along....fans I could have given him somethingi had brough with me... But didn't makeit in time......
it's ok, tho.

SG, the girls loved their cake and your contribution :heart: I didn't get to eat it with them but was there in my head--GG has pictures of the HD getting eaten. :shifty:

Chicago shows were just awesome. Jemm and Wild in ellipse BOTH nights, all of us in the second night--we danced and were absolutely crazy. it was brilliant.

Jemma and Wild did not get their meeting with Bono but Edge's bodyguard met them earlier and brought them to the front of the fan meeting line at the hotel so Edge could meet them, since it was their birthdays.

I'm just sorry I didn't get to talk to them much....even though I was near them when we were trying to see the band on Tuesday.

And I'm :happy: that Edge's Bodyguard did such a nice thing for them :hug:

I wonder if I could convince a bodyguard to help me meet Larry, since it will be just days before my Birthday (and Larry's) when I see them in Detroit :hmm: :wink:

I'm not getting much feedback on it and I'm getting really nervous about that. I thought it was a neat idea, but maybe it's just stupid :huh:

I haven't SG! I didn't even realize you had a new one, sorry...I've been so wrapped up in stupid school. :hug: I'll go check it out right now and let you know what I think. :)

Totally off-topic...the US is looking more and more appealing for relocation once I graduate :hmm:

It's funny you should say that, because I was thinking how nice Canada looked for relocation :wink:
 
Dazz- where exactly did you go at the Garden to see them coming in? I wanted to try and meet them next month but I don't know where to go
