ok firstly b/c not all of you read about the ***best day of my U2 fandom life!!!! {so far}*** thgat's SAT 10/8 and it's on the " we rise up" thread pgs 30-31 and 36! i'll direct you for future reading { and please do b'c it's a KICKER!!}

practically the only thing that didn't happn was NOT meeting Bono :sad:

Dazz's NYC U2 week day 5 first half.........afternoon......

what i didn't throw in was these....

I'd brought along photos of the WHO, Bruce/Estreet & Patti smith...... to show other fans,,, talking about how I have taken some great photos, but never near enough for u2 photos :madspit:

even tho i got FANTASTIC seats the little camera is a 35 millimetter which automatica;;y IS a Wide angle lens

sg i was so freaking :huh: confused the first few times i used it 10 years ago when my sis lent it to me b/c my pro :heart: SLR started not working so well for me :sad: and SHE"d just gotten her first fancy automatic camera.....m
If you're been used to a SLR with As close to normal human sight vierw of 55mmm then 35 is bleeeh pushes things away/makes them smaller BAH!!!!!!!

but that's how those are made! So sat nights pic are going to look like ?? 20% FURTHER away from the stage than I actaully was.....

soon his vcan pulls in and there's tons of people now b/c that area whewre they arrive the GA line eventually mushes into that area as people arrive.......... where as on sat {maybe b/c of the lousy weather} it took longer for the GA line to get too where we just standing for thre band to show up, was.

aNYWAY SINCE I GIT THERE LATER I WASN'T on the barracxade B gets out and hgoes down practically thew whole lline ....I was near hin near wqhen he stopped to talk to this fan who iI'd seen b4 {she's in a wheel chair} ..i couldn't get his attention.......before or after her......
I decided split second to give hium my xeroxs {2} of my patti smith photos...... he n didn't see ME hand them to the people in front........ i suddenly pulled them out { just shown the whole bunch rto a fan i met yesterday},,,,ans said Bono i have agifdt for you.... which he didn't hear either.... but AT LEAST someone in front of me- heard me.......and asked john and I handed them to someone and they handed them to John.
I called mr john's name too once some had said it....


then i walked dowm to a place at the far end of the ga line {actaully the front but it wAS FAR FROM MY STATION POINT} ands I got to a spot with where there were only a few gals........cause it's where the wall meets the barricades. then op[ens up a bit further down


SO i'm waiting I ghave a sketch vbook with my color comp {a sErious rehersaL} OF A SKETCH _NOT THE FINISHED PIECE- OF THE GUYS PLAYING IN BROOKLYN..... sorry pinky slip.....
I wanted him to sign that,,,,\\but he gets over here and I'm still behind toi half behind the gals.... taking some pics hard angles to catch him between ppl. so the gald in front ask to kiss him...they do.

at one point he's got one ione each side leaning foward over the metal barricades...........

I SAY..... b'c i can't get antwhere closer to him AAAARRGGG!

"AH, kisses in stereo!" he says back to me ...I'm a specialist in that.

I' can't comeback with a quip fast enough......all i vcould think of was 'Indeed"..... he wtrgits one oor 2 more qautographs and just aas I start to bring my sketch pad over....he turnes and goes all the way back to the{now} farside from whrere i'd first been........ got back up there but didn't get any hwere too close...
and then he fainally got back in the van...he was out there for nearkky 20 or monre mins. and by the time he goit closer to me the light was failing for the day............ppphhbbbtttt!

but i can say he looked gorgeous.....oh man, whimper....

so you can see what i got a little frayed with ruff coming onn to say she'd gotten MORE B loving....right safter I was missed

WAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I'm honestly NOT taking uit as a value judgement

'but the3 only resason I'm NOT crying in my beer right now {and hey I can't even have alcohal-- well 3 thimblefulll os champaign is about it}

I'm not usually a romantic comedy sort of girl, but I really enjoyed this one :up: :up:

Well I'm sure no one, but me will know that it was originally Bonos face. hehe

I've been working on this Mother Earth design for a while. A very large woman/spirit with the earth in her belly and leaves and floweres growing all around her. I thought that the piece needed some balance to it so the other night about 3 am when I couldn't sleep Father Sky made his appearance. Half of his face looks more human but the other half morphs into the sun and stars. In the drawing the human part looks alot like Bono, but once its in fabric I'm sure it will change.

I own Matchmaker and love it! The irish love interest in it is so gorgeous! I'd love to snog his face off. :drool: :giggle:
 
He use to be on a show called The District, but then they killed him off. :( He was so hot as a cop. hehe

I just sprung for a 14 day netpass --20$ soo i'll be able to hang out with you all more for the next 2 weeks! YAY.......and catch some of the setlist parties and b'c they'lll bre gone for now bafter fri....i'll have still 5 more days and I can go read everyone's fan fic ....... :applaud: :happy: :drool:

Monday was Columbus Day here in the States. But as a comic strip said, we don't have an Akron Day or a Cleveland Day. :laugh:

(Psst: Columbus, Cleveland, and Akron are all cities in Ohio.)

I just posted more crap in fanfic. Need to post more Story W/O Me very very soon. Like Tuesday or Wednesday. Or both days. And I need to get serious about Finding a Job. That's another story.

I didn't have a happy trip home this weekend. Long story short: We buried and scattered my father's ashes on Saturday. :sad:

Trying to meet B has been a sheer mixed set of emotions.....sheer SHOCK & drooldom of getting closer and closer to him, and yet ARG :scream: :angry: at missing him each time. But hell I AIN'T giving up...no, no, no!

Well IF it all works out in the end: this week or in Nov.....i'd PREFER this week~~ oh, *powers that be*, so i can get it done with already!!! And then ***~~~~Cherish/ have the memory forever~~~~*** :love: :drool: !!!

THEN i'll tell the "theory" I've been beginning to have abouy why it's taking soooooooooo damn long for me to have it happen!

I'm not pissed about it general....I'm just pissed about working there in the first place....and I don't think it sucks...cause what if I got fired during the summer...then it would have really sucked! :yikes:

But at least during the past day I applied for two jobs....and I posted my resume on Monster.com on Sunday...so at least I'm off to a good start.

I was just reading about external hard drives (HD's - heh), and apparently, they fail with great regularity, as well. I actually read somewhere that for all critical files you absolutely can't lose, they recommend you buy two HDs, in case one fails. :crack:

Is nothing safe anymore? I feel like my security has been ripped away from me. :sad:
