If only people would spend less time fighting and more time wearing condom hats, the world would be a happier place.

Let the revoultion begin.

I don't think he was looking at the pictures, that I know of. :uhoh:  I said to Sarah tonight, I'm really glad that U2 is my addiction, and that I'm not a huge porn collector, or something. :yikes:

omg, only you think of these things! :lmao:

I'm doing goood! :D I had a wonderful evening with my best friend. I'm glad there's people around - I didn't know if there would be anyone here.

From the old thread:

Originally it was a Permanant Scattered Site arrangement....
.....for some reason it changed ? to Transitional Housing about a year or more BEFORE i moved in. Nasty roomie [abbrieviateded now to NR ] had been there oh say 6 yrs or so. They were trying to mover her out about a 6 months a year after I moved in.

In fact when I first moved in it was more or less a 3 year stay, and a year in for me they changed it to 2 yrs :uhoh: .
But After those 2 yrs THAT's when all the bad stuff hapened to my dad, and my sis's cancer scare etc. So they layed off for ? 1 1/2 yrs on me. Then I started my search.

THey will not force a person to go IF the person can come up with genuinely reasonable reasons as to the problems with prospective apartments.

I beleive they have not sent her out to look for apts SINCE 4 yrs ago. IF they have i've heard nothing about it and beleive me I would of heard her at some point complaining/worrying etc. Like the last time.

AND YES just about every other type of MH professional who has heard my stories has said the same thing.

Now here's my part of my anxiety ilness kicking in. I'm afraid if they stay to try to remove her -- b/c i've & other nice roomie have complained - I'm afraid she might get crazy enough to come in and wreck my room/ maybe try to hurt me......set the palce on fire
[maybe that's from being in 2 different building that had REAL fires that [luckily for the REST of the Bildg] "just" gutted that one apt & did NOT spread b/c the firefighters arrived soon enough  .

IF she got put in the hospital which they stuck her in after she hiot me 4 yrs ago had the police come and take her away.

SHe showed back up the next morning with her sis. I think her sis talked them into letting out. I TJOT she could only be realeased AFTER the agency was contacted  Which didn't happen! :madspit:

THe only situation that would seem to work is if they put her in the hospital/ kept her there and Moved her someplace else directlty from the hospital.
ANd I don't think that's going to hapen unless she gets out of control. Last wek was the worst in over a 1 1/2 yr.

Awwww. :( You need someone who knows the system who can step up to bat for you. Is there someone - a councillor, caseworker, anyone - that you've bonded with, who would have your best interests in mind? Failing that, do you think your sister would step in and try to help? I don't care if she has mental health issues, the bottom line is, you're being abused. If it were a spousal situation, the law would stop it. Just because it's more of a casual roommate situation doesn't make it any more right. Further, those in the agency are complicit in the abuse, by allowing her to stay there and continue it. You really need someone to help you. Wish I were close enough to help.

So I take it you weren't invited? :| Yes, you should definitely do something for yourself!

Umm no, that never even came up

it's not that big of a deal, really, just another straw if you will.

and I have been thinking about going to see Russty in April, anyway, so I'm just going to have to do some planning now

If by "lurking" you mean "restarting a frozen computer", then yes, I was lurking

See?

My point is once again proven.

Computers are evil. :tsk:

welcome back

my sister wants to go see her boyfriend, who lives less than an hour from where Russty just moved to, so we'd go together  I would love it, I've never been out West at all - I want to see a palm tree :hyper: !

of course, it would involve flying, which I've never done :uhoh: but I think I can manage with a couple of drinks and some xanax

Thanks Thora  At this point, I need...everything.

I'll probably start a heavy-duty recovery of what I've lost over the holidays, so that would be great. :)

Well, feel free to let me know whenever you have a list, and I'll see what I can do for you. :)
