:yes: It was so long ago, I can't even remember which teeth I had taken out ... four of them may have been molars; one was a tooth which was never going to come in because it was trapped between the roots of two other teeth (the orthodontist showed us the x-rays).

Okay - I think I have really good instincts about people, and I have a really good bs detector. Especially with men, I think I err on the side of cynicism. And last night, he was being sincere. I know that now. Not saying it's going to turn out to be the romance of the century, but I know now that he does have some regard for me as a person, enjoys being with me, and it's not entirely based on sex for him...and he was a little worried that that's all it was for me. :cute:

Tonight:

1) A friend may have popped in, and they're sitting around doing guy things, scratching themselves, drinking beer, and watching some sporting event. Or porn, perhaps. :rolleyes:

2) He's sleeping.

3) He may be a little freaked out about having been so open and vulnerable last night, and needs a few days to process it (and when I say open and vulnerable, it's not like he was down on one knee reading me sonnets and proclaiming his undying love - but for him, he was very open).

All three of the options are feasible, and none of them are damning.

But I hate that I'm sitting here obsessing about it. :|

And it was the guy who inspired the cds I played last night who told me about Say Anything, cause he knew I loved that song...he told me to watch it. :heart:

I love Say Anything!!! And Mini-cat has watched it like 10 times this last week! :giggle: She is addicted to the dvd and I haven't a clue why. :shrug: But I don't complain.

It's compeletely understandable that you want to know why he hasn't called, and what is he doing.
I suppose you just need to cut your losses. After all this time, in one night, you have finally been (re)assured, sincecerely and on his initiative, that you are more than a booty call. And you have finally gotten what you've been saying you've wanted for awhile. Some sort of emotional connection with him. Ok, he hasn't called, but look how much you've gained. :)

And where the heck is SG, she's far more eleoquent then me at these things. :angry:
