Yeah, seems like a bunch of people dropped out all at once. :hmm:

I always forget to even look at that area, so I read the whole thread a few days ago.

Her and my sister always used to go to Rama, but now my sister can't drive that far at one time ( :( ) so lately they've been going to Niagara. Or Fallsview. What's the difference? :lol: One of the Niagara ones.

They go for a couple of nights every two months or so. This time they went to check out, and their entire hotel fee had been comped. :ohmy:

Fallsview's newer, fancier (I'm guessing, I've only been to Niagara, and that was with a couple other people to go see Elevation play), and has fairly big names perform on their stage :wink:

Niagara doesn't have much of a stage, but they do have a damn good buffet :lol:

Oh, I just looked it up, and it must be Fallsview. Doesn't look like the other one has much in the way of entertainment, and every time they go, they see a fairly major show.

So, here's what I made:

linguine noodles that were to be topped with a stroganoff-type sauce. For the sauce, I sauteed mushrooms, then added thin strips of med-rare strip loin steak I had grilled (yeah, I stood outside and grilled it on the barbecue) and combined that with a light, creamy sauce. I had also taken asparagus stalks and drizzled them with olive oil, and then topped them with grated parmesan cheese, and put those in the oven, along with a couple of dinner-sized croissants. Sounds good, right? :drool:

Problem - I took the pyrex dish with the asparagus out of the oven when everything was done, set it on top of the stove (not on a burner, obviously), and was about to put the pasta on plates and top with the sauce WHEN THE FUCKING GLASS PYREX DISH SHATTERED, SPRAYING GLASS OVER THE REST OF THE FOOD THAT WAS STILL ON THE STOVETOP. :scream: :scream: :scream:

So, I had a tuna sandwich for dinner. :grumpy: :mad:
 
Alright - we had a little scare today and wound up in the ER but everything looks good :up: :pray:

I have a feeling my doctor is going to be really tired of me by June :p

Right now I'm watching U218 videos and contemplating getting a laptop with a wireless connection :shifty:
