I just checked Hamilton, the closest forecast to me, and it's 115F.

Out of curiosity, I looked at some places in the US, and none that I saw had 'heat indexes' over 100.

This is fucking insane - I don't think I've EVER seen it this high up here!

My dog was outside for about 3 min and her coat was hot, hot, hot and she was panting and scratching to get back in.

Since I'm just sitting around the house today, I was thinking I should do some laundry. Then I got thinking that running my washer and dryer might put undue strain on the power grid, and that the responsible thing to do would be to wait for another day.
