Just be lucky you work for a credit union handling school accounts....try working at a movie theater during the busiest three months of the year!

But Nighty Night anyways Drea...have a great naughty Adam dream!

Believe me, I've been free of retail for nearly two years now and I'm grateful - one of my previous jobs was working customer service at a Cdn WalMart competitor... Hell is working customer service doing returns after Christmas! (I was working there during the Tickle Me Elmo and Furby crazes...)

Night! *:hug:s all 'round*

:yuck: Replace the Tickle Me Elmo and Furby crazes with Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter......but I understand though

 to you too Drea

Crap...lost a major, wordy reply in the transition.

But the gist of it was, feel free to whine, Eless...I did. Mucca developed this bit whereby she regularly offered to wipe my nose while shoving me against a wall. It's difficult to concentrate on feeling crappy when you're peeing yourself laughing.

And it was also then that I was attempting to write that dreaded stats paper I'm sure you heard me refer to. I got like 45 extensions on it, cause quite frankly, it's hard to concentrate on stats when your nostrils aren't in operation. :|

Cool about your brother living home, and I'm sure that offers you some relief, especially now. Speaking of which, any more word from the crazy?

Night Drea!

Bri reminded me today of 40...I'd forgotten about it.

Not since that week or so ago. Then I had that crying episode on phone with my mom and sent her shopping for replacements for every door on the house. We needed them anyway, but now I'm forcing the issue.

Ugh, paper extensions reminds me of the incomplete I have left to do. Blah. *going to look for Toronto tickets instead*

Incompletes are incompletes for a reason. The very word implies "can be completed at a later time."

Toronto tickets are a much greater priority.

I"m back as well!

SG! I'm glad you came back! :D

I was working, but after taking an hour and a half to draw the most fucking complicated pattern in the fucking known free world I decided it was time for a break. The fun part will be tracing the whole mother fucker and cutting it apart. I don't know why I do this shite to myself.

SG, I'm glad youre back...I need to ask you something...something you may have info about, because of your sister. I'm a little worried about mine. :(

And Russty too!! Two sources of information.

Ok, Go ahead VP. Or do you want me to sign in to MSN?

**And Russty I have to Applaud the use of the f word so many creative ways in your last post :applaud: :giggle:

Oh man! I just got IM'd that my friend got a message from our other friend to call her and it was something about her boyfriend and a ring! I'm dying now! I so hope he asked her to marry him. :hyper: She is calling her right now.

And what is this "most fucking complicated pattern in the fucking known free world" that you decided to do?

Okay, I was telling you both the other night about the FMS thing, and that she was having further testing done. She went to her doc today, and it appears it's not FMS, but rheumatoid arthritis...I'm not sure of all the medical terms, but the blood test they do to check for it was apparently off the charts. However, the joint swelling wasn't as bad as the blood test would indicate. I was just reading webmd.com, and they said that elevated blood levels without the major swelling can be due to lupus. :( :(

Should I be freaking out?? Her doc booked her in to see a specialist...either later this week or next.

Well I don't do other peoples patterns anymore. I pretty much draw whatever I see in my head or what the general idea is and then make a pattern on blank newspaper from there.

So the other night I was praying for the London gigs, cuz I was really worried about their being problems and worried about how many people were going to be there. So when I was praying I got this image in my head of 2 huge angels hovering over the stadium. Just being there watching over the whole thing. I haven't been able to get it out of my head. So last night I drew a quick sketch.

So what the final thing became is 4 guitars laying down. 2 electric and 2 acuoustic with 2 angels flying over them. The problem is the angels have to look transparent. There is a technique that is called "ghosting" where instead of making the angels out of seperate fabric and laying them on top of the guitars. I have to actually merge them with the guitars in the fabric.

So if the guitar is red where the angel intersects you might use pink or a very pale red on the part of the angel that is covering. Its a long involved process, which I'm probably totally nuts for trying to do.

The worst part of having a lot of information available easily is that there can be too much statistical information and not enough real world, personal, individual focus. Yes, there may be reason to worry. But it sounds like your sisters doctor is on top of it, and there's no point in worrying yourself sick over a 'possible'. There are tons of things that are entirely possible but which just don't turn out that way. Say a prayer (and I will, too) and just wait and see what it turns out to be. It might be nothing worth worrying over at all, in the end.

First of all, take some deep cleansing breaths. I know this all sounds scary, but its not as bad as it seems. You have come to the right place.

My mother has Lupus and rheumatoid arthritis. The told her at first that she had fibromyalgia. So that is not an uncommon diagnoses. She worked for over 15 years with the lupus and arthritis. My mother was an RNP who worked at a very stressful office and also traveled the world with doctors without borders. This is not a death sentences for your sister. What it means is that she will have to change some things in her life and learn to do things in moderation. They will also be able to put her on meds to help with both and stuff for pain control. Diet is also a big factor. They can also give her some stretching exercises that will help with some of the joint pain. They have helped my mother alot.
