the podium is one of the special items you can't buy - sims have to earn them by reaching certain skill points and career levels - I'm loving them so far

Another one is the obstacle course, which Edge was running in the 'physical' video while Jez yelled out er... encouraging words

oh, and the blue screens there on the podium are teleprompters with the script displaying for him in case he forgets the words!
