pic request: confetti

hi!

i'm looking for any great pictures of the intro to City Of Blinding Lgiths, indoor preferably, when the confetti is falling down from the ceiling.

This is not my picture, but I think it's a good one. I didn't have a camera in Chicago on 5/9/05, then on 9/20/05, we didn't get confetti.

You are right-- I was wrong. MrPurrl and my sis Bink both said there was confetti. I guess because we were all the way down the side of the arena, it just didn't impress me the way it did in May when we were behind the stage. That doesn't surprise me, though--after the Notre Dame show on 10/10/01, I didn't remember that they'd opened with "Beautiful Day", either.

Apparently, of 9 shows that's all I took Guess I was too excited during the opening song.

So I am curious, what do the stadium shows get instead of confetti? Fireworks? I am assuming they can't dump confetti in a stadium setting, unless they use those cannon things...

Oh, Liv, thank you! These are the only two shows I got to go to last year, and here are these beautiful pictures from "my" shows! May 9, we were behind the stage; and September 20, we were at the far corner stage right, so it's wonderful to see these views.
