Today's the scheduled power outage. I've got about 15 mins left before it's supposed to go off (for 8 fucking hours! ), and I've been trying to find someone who's awake/online to let me crash at their place and watch the Eng/USA game this morning. Nobody's up yet. Sooo... I may just skip out on watching, and go shopping/to a movie.

But thank god I have internet on my phone, so I can hopefully hook up with some friends later on in the day.

to find out where she is.... nor her office... (nor more serious callers)

but when I send her e-mails or leave a message she USUALLY e-mails me
back even a quick little message.... by e-mail

I'm wondering IF one of her 2 close friends are in great distress

So the planned outage wasn't as long as they said it would be!

I ended up going out to a coffee shop then a park, and just hanging about outside all day. Absolute perfection! It's over 20 degrees outside, which is so glorious. Just what I needed.

Now I'm back in the cool of my house, enjoying a cold drink, and the fact that my power is on again.
