Well, hopefully. I'm just freaking out last minute because I'm in a huge city full of no-one I know and I'm not directional and I'm also not that social all the time...I'd almost rather stay in the living room and fight with my mom about please let's not watch any more Food Network...

At the same time, I'm excited for art...and concerts...and people eventually...and at some point I need to get a cat, because we're allowed to have pets :cute: (somehow I don't think I'll be able to handle that and school though!)

Do any of you have that one friend that really pisses you off, but somehow, you always end of forgiving them? I have gone out of my way to help this person, and to be nice when everyone else had walked away. I give up.

Not to butt in, but yes I do. I've been in situations like that before. I hope this person stops pissing you off. :( :hug:

I have a family member like that...except, well, I don't really forgive him...some people do stupid things...

Considering it's just a friend and you've probably taken enough of their crap, I'd say just walk away and maybe tell them how you feel about it :reject: I know it doesn't seem like a nice thing to do but it'll make your life that much easier.
 
I'm going to try to walk away, then in a day or 2, I'll get a nice email and be sucked right back in. Hard to explain. This person is hard to say good bye to, even though I KNOW I should. Thanks for the kind words everyone!:hug:

I actually have very few friends. And even fewer when you don't count family members.

I just don't generally like people, though. :reject:

Yea, that's probably why some of the ones I've read have been PWP
for those that don't know, that's Porn With Plot :shifty: or, alternatively, Plot With Porn

I tried to write fanfiction ONCE, and never got past a dribble. Can't even call it a drabble, because it was so short. Never did try again.
 
PWP :laugh: BEST ACRONYM EVER. Yeah, I've definitely come across that.

I've...definitely written more than you. I'm steering clear of writing fanfic for the moment, though *sigh* so now my life's a whole lot less fun...
 
Back in MY fanfic days (ye olden days, doncha know), PWP stood for Porn Without Plot.

Not that there was anything wrong with that. :wink:

Yes. I had two friends like that who I'd known since grade school and a few years ago, I let both of them go. They were just no good for my life.

I forgot about those.... I've come across a few of those as well... and not a damn thing wrong with it. :shifty:
