PGP-Stocking Up On Eyepatches For 2011

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2.
If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
Aaaaaaahhhh Float On just came on Pandora radio. Obviously I remember Wake Up being played, but the only other PA song I can remember from Vertigo is Float On. While it doesn't give me Wake Up chills, it brings me back to happy memories of waiting for U2 to take the stage after Institute. :)

G'night, zu!

I really enjoy spinach. I didn't used to like it when I was a kid, but now I really like it.

I'm kinda tired, and I'm debating whether or not to keep watching or turn it off and finish the DVD tomorrow. :hmm:

Keep watching! Mr. MacPhisto doesn't like to be kept waiting. :shifty:

The whole intro to Daddy's Gonna Pay kills me. His face as he sings!

How many people in the audience, do you think, were sitting there staring at him like "...... what the FUCK?!"

BTBS - RTSS - Streets on ZooTV Sydney is pure effing heaven.

QFMFT!! :heart::heart::heart:

Could someone please repost that "holy :censored: he's bendy!!" Adam pic from the last thread? You guys had started this one by the time I got to it...:drool: (Btw, if his foot is pointing towards the bass it's entirely physically possible - I couldn't get my leg up very far (not much of the bendy here ), but I certainly could get it up a little like that *g*)

 Consider me convinced.

Yeah, his face is priceless. I especially love Adam jumping out of his skin when the money cannons go off in that song. :lmao:

Oh, probably 80% of the crowd, I'm sure. I love it now, but if I'd seen it back then, I'd definitely have been one of those people thinking wtf are they smoking?!

Spinach :barf:

We have a big 5 gallon water cooler, like some ppl have in their office, in our kitchen.

I've always loved spinach. I'm all "spinach - yay!"

Aww, thanks! Long story short, it was a LONG day, I was sick for most of it, and my sister is a total psycho. But now there are pornographic Bono pics, so things are looking UP!

OMG, I would pay for my cats to start doing that to each other!

Thanks! It's not like I take much convincing! :D Just have to come up with the money!

Works for me!

The quiet eyeroll is an underrated hobby! And to the last sentence- every day!

Sorry about the psycho sister and the not feeling better, are you okay now?

We need to get our cats jobs to make the money.

More to say, but my cursor is freaking out, ARRRRGH.

Gaaahhh, I need hummus now! The grocery store near my house has a greek olive hummus that is pretty yummy!

Ooooohhhh yum!

I like to put plain hummus on apples. It sounds like it would be gross(I thought it would be when I first heard that combo), but it goes well together!

:giggle: Thora beat me to it, but I love that moment in Daddy's Gonna Pay :giggle: Adam's face!

Something else I really love about that video that doesn't have to do with the music but them as the band/friends... Given that it was the day after the missed show, a couple little moments make me smile: 1)Bono looking at Adam, smiling and snapping along with to the rhythm of Zoo Station until Adam grins back, and 2)Macphisto wiping Adam's brow as he walks by during Lemon :cute:

Didn't Jeff (Edge_Orchestra) say exactly that? I think he was front row for Mac's debut show and he was like W..T..F.

Ok new thread happened while I was watching TV. Supernatural season premiere was only OK.... I'm invested totally so I'm in anyway.

Can't quote the old thread any more so copy and paste VP's post:

!!! I've heard about that episode! Did they find slash fic about themselves, or something??

I also remember them (by them, I mean the people on another message board I lurk on, who mock the crazy people) saying that there's a 3rd actor from the show who says shit on Twitter and at Comic Con to bait the crazies.

I've actually thought that it sounds like something we might like, but hearing the fan craziness sort of makes you want to back away and have nothing to do with it. We should check it out some time, though.

YES. It was great. They found an online slash site about themselves and one of them was trying to explain to the other about slash and the other was like... Dude... they do know we're brothers right? :yikes: and his brother was like uh yeah doesn't seem to matter. :crack: It was great.

The other actor Misha Collins (who plays the angel Castiel) is on Twitter and he is a NUT. There was this whole thing too when during last season on the show (which deals with God and the devil and all that stuff) the character of Lucifer was finally going to be introduced so on Twitter all the Supernatural fans were talking about it with the tag #Lucifer is coming and P. Diddy who was clueless that this was a TV SHOW started this huge Twitter war with Misha Collins with his followers tweeting #God is here, and Misha being the nut he is was like OH this is TOO GOOD and ran with it. It was pretty hilarious, but Twitter actually freaked and shut Misha down. Definitely one of the weirdest online days I have ever witnessed.

Anyway... new thread  I think Domo needs to christen it with her pirate pics. :shifty:

Also, you may have watched the ZooTV dvd too often when...

...while listening to the Zooropa cd at work, during the "Sunday, Monday, Tuesday.." bit near the end of DGPFYCC you hear the "Daddy's gonna paaaaaaaaaaaaaayyy..." bit in your head too

I will be a much happier girl tomorrow afternoon when the aforementioned sister goes hooooooooooooome. Plus I plan to make tacos tomorrow, so there's that. :D

Did you ever play the Sims 2, where you can make your cats get jobs? That is my dream world. I mean, I prob spend more $ on cat food than people food, they should do their share, right?

Ooooohhhh yum!

I like to put plain hummus on apples. It sounds like it would be gross(I thought it would be when I first heard that combo), but it goes well together!

Oooh, I'll have to try that!

There's a restaurant near my house in Orlando that has an awesome hummus sampler appetizer. My friend Dave and I like to order it and then attempt to guess what each kind is. We make terribly intellectual guesses like "Mmmm, I am quite sure this one is monkey hummus!"

For some reason, it cracks me up when Bono/Mac waves off his assistants.

I LOVE that. We copy his little waves like that all the time at each other. :D

I'm chatting back and forth via facebook with the guy I went out with on Thursday. We were just chatting about movies, and he says, "In other news, you are a good hugger. That is all." :giggle: Warm fuzzies, I has em.

Aww! :cute: That's awesome.

His falsetto on that track is freaking unreal

I'm off to bed. I think I'm going road-tripping tomorrow, up to the North Cascades Highway. Whoot!

I don't have words. It's so unbelievably beautiful. I just want him to keep singing it.

Have fun tomorrow!

I think I'm heading to bed too. I don't have anything to do tomorrow, but I'm tired, so sleep is calling my name. G'night, all!

More to say, but my cursor is freaking out, ARRRRGH.

Okay, cursor's better now. I hate it when it acts up.

Anyway, re cats carrying each other, I've mentioned that the way I ended up with so many was because we took in a pregnant stray. She had her kittens in my front hallway (in a covered litter box!! clean and empty, but still), and all was well for a few days. When they were about 3 or 4 days old, I looked up and saw her at the bottom of the stairs holding one in her mouth, headed up the stairs...but she was dropping it on the stairs, like she couldn't get a good grip. I was freaking out. I just let her go for a while, because I didn't know if it would be bad if I interfered, but then she started putting them all in my bedroom in a completely inappropriate place, they wouldn't have been warm enough, so I finally had to carry the whole litter box up for her, and put them in a box. She was okay with that. She moved them again in a few days, to another spot in my room, but that was it, thank goodness. Crazy cat.

Gah, now I'm in the mood to watch that particularly lovely DVD and of course my computer's DVD drive would be refusing to work. *puts on devil horns and stews*

  As corny as it sounds, they really do care about each other. Bono just happens to be the most demonstrative of them, I think.

I will never figure out the logic of where cats choose to have their kittens!

My Tallulah had hers RIGHT IN MY BED. We were cuddling one day and I was rubbing her belly, and said "When are you going to have those kittens, Lula Janey?" and she frickin' went into labor a minute later! Thanks for answering my question and all, cat, but really... here?? At least I had time to put towels down.

Ha! I've never played that, but my daughter has. I'll have to ask her. But to make those suckers work for their keep, even in a fake reality? I'm all for that.

neighbours are louder than ever. *turns up tv, mixes another drink* :crack:
