Today's the day I go to the 4 hour food event.

Cannot WAIT! I follow one of the participating restaurants on Twitter, and they're already talking about what they're cooking for the event, and it's making my mouth water!

I'm going to have a small brunch shortly, and then nothing else so that I can have enough room to try all the amazing food this afternoon. I got an email last night from a friend who read my food website, and it turns out she's going to be at the event too! Yay! Hopefully I'll see her at the beginning of the event so we can hang out together.

ETA - and it turns out even MORE people I know are going! Just got another email from other friends. Fun!

But yes, it's a gourmet food event with all local foods/restaurants participating. Plus loads of local wine and beer.
