:laugh: Larry is trying to pull a Bono, Adam's hair is doing I don't know what, Edge is distracted and Bono just looks like a parody of himself.

I just wish Edge would lose the beanie already. :sigh:

Bono doesn't look bad. I just don't think he's decided what he wants to do with his hair yet so he hasn't cut it. :hmm:

Fun day today- went through somebody's vinyl collection and came home with a bunch of great classic records and some massive old speakers to play them through. Didn't find any vintage U2, but only got through about half the collection so there may be some in there. Preparing to blow my kids' minds with Hendrix, Beatles and the Who.

The WHO !!!!!!! :hyper::love::hyper:

My FIRST Non-Teenybopper (screamer) Band!

saw them at Filmore East :heart: Tommy, Forest Hills :bow::heart::bow: WHO's Next , the somewhat chaotic :heart::bow::heart: original Quad tour

saw them 2nd Time 1968 Pre-Tommyat THE Schaefer Music Festival/CENRAL the Festival that would eventually move to Pier 86 - WHERE A CERTAIN :yawn: Irish band would play 17 yrs later! That I caught rehearshing for a few mins :bow:

Andhow old are your kids?

Orly....: hmm:

It'd be nice if we could get some music SOON : waiting: so we could all start getting hyped up and salivating properly.

BRiiiiiiiiiiiiiii :lol: :hug::hug:
hi HOW ARE U?

Art is still a struggle with the full on drawing BUT have made some serious progress at times AND look up "what are "artist Books" getting bnto them the past 3 years slowly making some great progress with thpse (* saw them in the mid 80's)

ALso new Sculpture ideas combining some drawing ( nit enough to scare that scared part of me off) with wooden model wood Part combo of my Real small 3 yr Sculpture career :love: in the early 80's

hope you are well:hug::wave:!

I get the Phillip Seymour Hoffman thingie. Loved him muchly in "Magnolia"-- he made it worth sitting through the Tom Cruise scenes.

Also, he killed me in "Boogie Nights".
He is so very talented. I loved him in "Pirate Radio."

You should watch "State & Main." He was excellent in that. Bonus: it has Alec Baldwin, William H. Macy, and Clark Gregg. (it's a really funny movie)

Thoughts on seeing the live stream of Macbeth today:

Alex Kingston played that whole role with no bra on. And those are real boobs too. I think I love her.

The posters are not lying. Kenneth Branagh really is a much, much more attractive man now than he was twenty five years ago.

Bono and Sir Kenneth were born just nine months apart. Apparently 1960 was a damned good year.

That makes me both extremely jealous and extremely happy.

Alex Kingston is amazing. I really hope that someday, this gets released on DVD so I can get it. 'Cause Ken + Shakespeare = :love:

I have this theory--based entirely on Bono and Sir Ken--that 1960 was the finest year for mens to be borned.

Speaking of the Ken, I'm watching "Dead Again" on Netflix right now. Pretty sure this was his Orson Welles era. And he nailed his Yank accent.

I love "Dead Again." And "How to Kill Your Neighbor's Dog." And every other movie I've ever seen him in. Including "Wild Wild West."

Have you ever seen "Peter's Friends"? Great movie.

And how can they be too old? Sheesh, I'm young enough to be one of their kids and I still want Adam like nobody's business! (In fact, I think one or two of Edge's girls with Aislynn are actually older than me...)

This.

:ohmy:

Yeaaa, a mate just asked my opinion on moustaches. The only answer that I could come up with is that I don't like them at all, except for one.

:shifty: Showed him this pic, and he agreed that it was a pornstache haha.

Here's what Bono says about it: :wink:

"And camp doesn't suit this band. We're not camp. We'd love to be, but we just can't do it. Even Edge with his fucking gay moustache. It's just not going to go off."

Certain literary references wait in the 2013 pics thread this morning. :ohmy:

I wonder if they designed that outfit for Edge with the intention of making him look gay or if it was incidental? And if it was inspired by the mustache, cause he had that for quite a while beforehand.

Yeah, I dunno what went wrong with the language there. :lol: I meant ice cream for lunch. Man I've been rather tired lately, was feeling down so eh, why the hell not. Got my fave ice cream and had it for lunch. ANd I've been watching Pokemon all day. :reject:

Just got back from sports, so I got the ice cream off already anyway. :wink:

Yeah it was a blast from the past. :lol: I'm rewatching all 9 sesasons that ran throughout my childhood. Am in season 8 now, got quite a lot of episodes done today.

The oldest ones are still the best though. :D

:shifty: My pirate friends got me all seasons I wanted, hehehe.

Have to admit, the newer stuff has a lot of repeats. Some episodes are nearly exact clones of old ones. :lol: But I can imagine they ran out of ideas at some point. The series has been running for 15 years after all.

Shit.

15 years?

:crack: I'm getting old.
